It's the June Bank Holiday this weekend and we are brimming with fabulous plants to bring a wonderful show of colour to your garden. We really are a paradise for plant lovers where you'll discover a kaleidoscope of bedding plants for pots, unusual perennials & shrubs, the latest new varieties and passionate staff to help you choose the best ones for your garden.

It's Bloom Show in the Phoenix Park Dublin, this weekend and it's a brilliant day out for all the family, showcasing the best in gardening in Ireland. Our own James Wickham from Ardcarne Garden Centre Boyle will be one of the experts on The Irish Garden Magazine Bloom Plant Clinic on Sunday morning. Do call to see him with your gardening queries if you are attending the show. 

June is also a wonderful time for roses with many just coming into glorious flower. You'll find over 100 different varieties to choose from here at Ardcarne Garden Centre and types to suit all gardens. Do call in and be inspired!

Rose 'Rhapsody in Blue'

Pollinating insects are in decline due to habitat loss, lack of food, harmful sprays and climate change and we need to help them in every way we can. A very tangible way to help these incredibly valuable creatures is to plant more pollinator-friendly plants in our gardens and promote and encourage areas of wildflowers.
