Ardcarne Gift Card Terms & Conditions

Gift cards for use in Ardcarne Garden Centres, Ardcarne Garden Café and for use online at www.ardcarne.ie can be purchased in both Ardcarne Garden Centre stores and online at www.ardcarne.ie.

Terms and conditions of use

1. Ardcarne Garden Centre gift cards and digital gift cards can only be used at any Ardcarne Garden Centre in the Republic of Ireland or online at www.ardcarne.ie. You may only redeem your Ardcarne Garden Centre gift card or digital gift card in Euros.
2. There are two types of gift card that could be issued to you: (a) an custom value gift card; and (b) a specified value gift card. A custom value gift card has an amount applied to it specified by the purchaser of the gift card, of an amount between €5 and €500. A specified value card has a fixed amount of credit applied to it when it is purchased. For either card, further amounts of credit cannot be added once it has been purchased.
3. Ardcarne Garden Centre gift cards or digital gift cards can only be used for the purchase of merchandise in Ardcarne Garden Centre, Ardcarne Garden Café or available on www.ardcarne.ie and cannot be used to purchase other Ardcarne Garden Centre gift cards. Ardcarne Garden Centre gift cards or digital gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged for cash.
4. As of 1st December 2019, there is no limit on the number of Ardcarne Garden Centre gift cards, or digital gift cards that you are permitted to redeem in a single transaction in the Republic of Ireland.
5. You should treat your Ardcarne Garden Centre gift card or digital gift card as cash; you are solely responsible for its security. Lost, stolen or damaged gift cards or digital gift cards will not be replaced. The Ardcarne Garden Centre gift card or digital gift card is not a cheque guarantee, credit or charge card.
6. Purchases made with an Ardcarne Garden Centre gift card or digital gift card will be deducted from the balance of the Ardcarne Garden Centre gift card or digital gift card (as applicable) until the balance reaches zero credit (€0.00). No change can be given for purchases where the value of the goods bought is less than the value of credit on the Ardcarne Garden Centre gift card or digital gift card. Any remaining balance will be updated after each transaction and will stay on the Ardcarne Garden Centre gift card or digital gift card for future purchases. If the purchase price of the goods exceeds the amount of credit on the Ardcarne Garden Centre gift card or digital gift card, the remaining cost of the goods to be purchased can be settled via another accepted payment method.
7. Ardcarne Garden Centre gift card or digital gift card have an expiry date set at 5 years from the date of purchase as is agreed by law. Your  Ardcarne Garden Centre gift card or digital gift card can not be redeemed beyond this date and no extension can be applied to the expiry date after purchase. Any funds remaining on the card beyond the expiry date, will be void and so it is important that you use your gift card before the expiry date.
8. You can check the balance on an  Ardcarne Garden Centre gift card or digital gift card in store or online at www.ardcarne.ie.
9. The cost of anything you buy with the  Ardcarne Garden Centre gift card or digital gift card and return to store (in accordance with the  Ardcarne Garden Centre Returns Policy will be refunded to an  Ardcarne Garden Centre gift card or a replacement card given with the amount of the refund included. 10. The funds on an  Ardcarne Garden Centre gift card or digital gift card are not covered by any financial services compensation schemes in the Republic of Ireland.
11. We may amend the terms and conditions of the  Ardcarne Garden Centre gift card or digital gift card from time to time where we consider it reasonable and necessary to do so. This does not affect your legal rights.
