At Ardcarne Garden Centre we are proud to support Irish Suppliers and our cafe is no exception. Carol and Stella are always looking for new products to stock on the shelves in Ardcarne Garden Cafe and were delighted to recently start working with "Wild Irish Foragers and Preservers".
Based in Co. Offaly, Wild Irish Foragers are a small family-run business deeply rooted in the heart of Ireland where they forage from the woodlands, meadows, hedgerows and boglands on and around their 5th generation family farm

Using old almost forgotten recipes, they strive to create "Tastes of the past" from the handpicked wild bounty. All their products are handmade in small batches to ensure they capture that magical taste of a bygone era. By working with Mother Nature and what she provides for us we can ensure that our little patch will be kept in good natural stead for future generations.
We cannot wait to try their Rosehip syrup (perfect for a boost of Vitamin C) and the Dandelion Flower Preserve (with one of our famous Pear and Almond Scones).
